"My goal is to help your loved ones approach the end of life with a great sense of peace and closure. By providing compassionate, non-medical support, I aim to take some of the stress away from family members and caregivers, helping to create space for meaningful connection and a good, or at least better, death."

About Tammy
Hi, I’m Tammy. My work as an end-of-life doula is more than a profession—it's a calling. It is a sacred honor to hold space for individuals and families during one of life's most profound moments. I provide holistic, non-medical support that complements the care of hospice and other medical professionals.
With a calm presence and a compassionate heart, I focus on the unique emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of each person. My role is to listen deeply, to honor your story, and to empower you to define what a peaceful journey means to you. I am certified and committed to upholding the highest standards of compassionate care.
I was a caregiver for several years. I really loved working with the elderly. I was able to be with a few of my clients during their final days. One in particular during covid, her family members were unable to be with her. They asked if I would be with her so that she did not pass alone. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. It was from that day that I wanted to help with the passing in any way I could. I heard about this Death Doula and knew that is what I wanted to do.
I became certified to become a Death Doula or End of Life Doula on June 1, 2025. I want to educate loved ones and the dying to make their death one that relieves the worry of all of the decisions that come with dying. All the decisions that come with it that may be difficult to talk about that leave the loved ones having to decide while they are grieving and may cause some discontent within the family dynamic. You don’t have control on when you die but you can have control on how you spend your remaining time and how you transition. You can have a somewhat good death if you plan ahead and have all the decisions made ahead of time of how you would like it to be. I want to help you make that happen.

My Services
I offer a range of customizable services designed to bring comfort, clarity, and peace to individuals and the people who love them. Your free initial consultation allows us to explore your specific needs.
Advanced Care Planning
A gift of clarity for you and your loved ones. I gently guide you through the process of making thoughtful decisions about your future healthcare, ensuring your voice is heard and your wishes are honored if you become unable to speak for yourself.
End of Life Planning
Together, we can thoughtfully arrange the details of your final wishes. This can include creating legal documents like wills and advance directives, and clearly communicating your preferences for healthcare and personal matters to family and medical professionals.
Legacy Services
We celebrate your unique life story by crafting beautiful legacy projects. This could be creating journals, audio recordings, artwork, or letters to loved ones—preserving memories and love for generations to come.
Keeping Vigil
Holding sacred space during the final hours. I provide a continuous, compassionate presence, creating a tranquil atmosphere with candles, music, reading, or simply quiet companionship, according to your wishes.

Community Offerings
Beyond individual care, I believe in fostering open and healthy conversations about death and dying within our community.
Free Death Cafes
A Death Cafe is a safe, relaxed, and confidential space to discuss death and dying over tea and cake. It is a conversation group rather than a grief support group. My goal is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their finite lives. (Dates and locations TBA)
Educational Conferences
I will be hosting and participating in educational events to share knowledge and resources about end-of-life planning, care options, and the role of a death doula. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming conferences. (Details TBA)
